    Introduction

    This new scenic spot is pristine, adventurous and attractive and carries a huge potential as a tourism destination. It lies in the Roshi municipality of the Kavre district.

    Tindhare Jharana is a unique experience for bike riders and hiking enthusiasts. The beautiful creation of nature, this waterfall, is around 300 m tall and has trident shaped three major water streams. It can be reached via a short ride to Falamesanghu or Jaruwakhola in the Roshi Municipality of Kavre district in the Sindhuli-Bardibas road segment. About an hour hike from Jarukhola will take you to this mesmerizing waterfall in the very natural settlement.

    Apart from exploring this place, the Namobuddha monastery and the beautiful Dhulikhel are also major attractions. The cultural Newari villages on the way are also a major part to explore while visiting Tindhare Jharana or purportedly popular Bahubali waterfall. In the local initiation, this wonderful place got a new exposure as a wonderful destination. It became a very trending place to explore among the youngsters of Kathmandu valley and nearby districts.

    Tindhare Jharana got wide popularity as a Bahubali Waterfall. This is because the waterfall has similar visuals as in the Bollywood movie Bahubali. The movie was directed by S.S Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.

    Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju is a major character of the movie who jumps off the cliffs and after several attempts becomes successful to reach the upper part of the mountain. The waterfall part of the movie had a similar plot as in the Tindhare Jharana. So, people started to call it Bahubali waterfall. 

    Many people visit this Jharana to witness this incredible waterfall. Prabhas’s attempt to explore the paradise above the waterfall in the Bahubali movie is compared to this natural foundation. So, Tindhare Jharana of Kavre became widely popular as a Bahubali waterfall and many people visit this place to explore the mind blowing natural beauty of this place.

    How to reach Tindhare Jharana, the popular Bahubali waterfall?

    The Tindhare waterfall is situated around 65 Km away from the central Kathmandu valley. In the eastern part of the valley, lies this beautiful district of Kavrepalanchowk where this wonderful waterfall is located. Ideally dwelled in natural beauty, this place also offers cultural and scenic beauty. The Newari culture is prevalent in this place and a few households are there.

    A short drive from Kathmandu will take you to the Dhulikhel in Kavrepalanchowk district via Banepa. From Dhulikhel, another drive in the Sindhuli-Dhulikhel highway segment will take you to Jaruwakhola after an approximately 35 Km drive.
