Langtang is the easily accessible region form Kathmandu.

Langtang Region is the most accessible trekking regions near the Kathmandu valley. With a relatively short itinerary and all the excitement of the Himalayas, this region is a fascinating one. This region is an ideal trekking destination if you are short on time but still want to trek the Himalayas. You may experience the ancient culture of Tamangs and Gurungs. The Langtang and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges, high-altitude lakes including Gosaikunda, Bhairav Kunda and Dudh Kunda and over seventy glaciers of varying sizes will take your breath away.

Also known as the closest and easily accessible trekking destination, Langtang region is located at the North of the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. This region offers numerous high peaks including Langtang Lirung, with the ultimate destination of Lauribinayak. This region is rich in natural serene of the major Himalayas from Makalu in East and Annapurna in the west.

From holy lakes of Gosaikunda to hot spring, this region comprises harmonious natural and religious beauty. Also, the culture of Sherpas and Gurung provides a better understanding of diversified culture and lifestyle. Being nearer to the Tibetan border, people are also affected by the Tibetan culture. The culture variations make this trek culturally diverse and beautiful. This adds more glamour in the diversity of Nepalese and Tibetan community.
